About Us
The Guild of Charlotte Artists (GCA) is the oldest visual arts community in Charlotte, representing over 450 painters, photographers, sculptors, collage and mixed-media artists from the city and surrounding areas. As a fully volunteer-run organization, we come together to learn from one another, share opportunities, and build lasting connections. We believe that art unites us across differences—welcoming all without regard for race, religion, nationality, sexual orientation, or gender. Through exhibitions, meetings, and a spirit of camaraderie, the Guild uplifts original art and the people who create it.
Our Mission
We are artists in the Charlotte area who enjoy networking with other artists, learning new techniques, and showing our work in competitive venues. Our mission is to help artists:
Promote their work
Collaborate with other artists and build a sense of community
Foster learning
The Guild of Charlotte Artists will actively nurture and celebrate a dynamic community of artists whose creativity contributes to Charlotte's vibrancy and enriches lives in the community.
