2026 Online Shop Extension Agreement

Agreement

This Online Shop Extension Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into between the Guild of Charlotte Artists (“Guild”) and the undersigned artist (“Artist”).

Purpose

This Agreement extends the online sale of artwork previously submitted for the Guild of Charlotte Artists’ Mint Museum exhibition following the close of the exhibition.

Extension Period

The artwork will remain listed in the Guild’s online shop from August 24, 2026, through December 31, 2026, unless withdrawn earlier by the Artist in accordance with this Agreement.

Artwork

This Agreement applies only to the artwork listed in the Guild’s online shop at the conclusion of the Mint Museum exhibition. No additional artwork will be added under this Agreement.

Commission

The Guild will retain a 30% commission on the retail selling price of all artwork sold through the Guild’s online shop during the extension period. The Artist will receive the remaining 70%.

Payment

The Guild will remit payment to the Artist within 30 days after payment has been received from the purchaser.

Non-Exclusive Listing

This Agreement is non-exclusive. The Artist may exhibit or sell the artwork through other venues during the extension period.

Artwork Availability and Withdrawal

The Artist agrees to notify the Guild promptly if any listed artwork is sold elsewhere or otherwise becomes unavailable.

The Artist may withdraw any artwork from the Guild’s online shop at any time, with or without cause, by providing written notice to the Guild. The Guild will remove the artwork from the online shop as soon as reasonably practicable after receiving the notice.

If a sale has already been completed or is in the process of being completed before the Guild receives the Artist’s withdrawal notice, that sale will proceed under the terms of this Agreement unless otherwise agreed by the Artist, the purchaser, and the Guild.

Use of Images

The Artist grants the Guild permission to continue displaying images of the artwork on the Guild’s website and in Guild marketing materials for the purpose of promoting and selling the artwork during the extension period.

Original Agreement

Except as modified by this Agreement, all applicable terms of the original Mint Museum exhibition agreement remain in effect.

Expiration

This Agreement automatically expires on December 31, 2026, unless extended by mutual written agreement.
